"THE S WORD"

"NO, NOT THAT ONE"

The S word stands for Strategy which is in our corporate name. You are probably wondering why we use the word strategy. For clarifying our thinking on this much used word we would like to give credit to Patrick Lencioni 1.

In his words "An organization's strategy is nothing more than the collection of intentional decisions a company makes to give itself the best chance to thrive and differentiate from competitors.

ESSENTIALLY AN ORGANIZATIONS STRATEGY IS SIMPLY ITS PLAN FOR SUCCESS.

There is another S word in our corporate name, and that word is "Social", and again why did we choose it?

Social is a broadly used word with many definitions, but in our case we are using it to describe how we conduct ourselves day to day.

We want our site to be recognized as a place where businesses and individuals can Social-ize and share important information that may help address any issues that  exist  in their business environment. We also believe that Social Media used professionally can be a great tool to help people promote, create, share or exchange information, ideas, and pictures/videos in virtual communities and networks.

Social media is different from traditional or industrial media in many ways, offering better quality, reach, frequency, usability, immediacy, and permanence.

According to Nielsen, internet users continue to spend more time with social media sites than any other type of site. At the same time, the total time spent on social media in the U.S. across PC and mobile devices increased by 99 percent to 121 billion minutes in July 2012 compared to 66 billion minutes in July 2011.
